Borgo Pinti is tucked in between Santa Croce, piazza D`Azeglio and piazza San Marco and is lined with monasteries and churches on one side and prominent family palaces on the other. The facade of one of the monasteries is by Michelangelo. It is about a 15 minute walk to the Duomo and close to the Sant`Ambrogio outdoor market, Cibreo restaurant and bar, The Four Seasons hotel, a gym and several super markets. There are numerous buses to the station close by and a garage for parking.

Description: 
1 bedroom, 2 bathrooms and loft, 2nd floor (44 steps no elevator) 75 sq.mts. (approx. 800 sq.ft) and consists of:

Living room/dining room (extendable table for 6 persons)
Veranda (glassed in)
1 bedroom (double bed 150 cm wide, built in closet)
Loft (14 steps, with small double divan bed 130 cm wide, built in closet)
Kitchen (with bench and 2 bar stools)
2 bathrooms (both with showers, 1 ensuite, 1 on loft)

FURNISHINGS:
Long grey tiled floors throughout, except for the parquet on the loft floor, exposed steel girders and original wooden beams, grey windows and shutters. The soft furnishings are mainly linen in shades of grey and white with colour accents,  persian and kilm scatter rugs, and restored old furniture.  All kitchen equipment is supplied as are all linens.

AMENITIES:
Air conditioning, ceiling fans, mosquito sceens, microwave, oven, washing machine (on loft), dishwasher, hair dryer, safe, LAN cable internet and wifi, printer, 2 flat screen TV.  Please note there is no land line telephone.  This is a no smoking apartment.

Positive aspects: 
Location, quiet, light, gym next door, public parking garage close by, mosquito screens, ceiling fans, air conditioning.

Negative aspects: 
Steps, some noise from gym (limited hours and only with windows open), loft steps, small bathrooms, no cable or satellite TV.

Our personal opinion: 
"A delightful sunny and light apartment, renovated in a modern Italian style with some original features maintained. Situated in a convenient location in a typical italian neighbourhood which also boasts one of the best gelati shops."

Not included: 
Utilities (electricity, gas, water), internet connection, final cleaning and laundry charge. tourist tax, cleaning once a week for 3 hours.
