Via Lambertesca is a short narrow street right in the heart of the city. It runs between the piazza of  the Uffizi  Gallery and finishes a short distance from the “Ponte Vecchio”. This street is predominantly pedestrian. There are jewelry shops, a few boutiques and a famous trattoria. The main central market of San Lorenzo is about 15 minutes walk away, as is a supermarket, the central post office and all the monuments and museums. The palazzo “Bartolommei-Bruschetti” is a seventeenth century building which is adjacent to the church of “Santo Stefano al Ponte” behind. The entrance to the palazzo has been kept in its original form with columns and statuary leading to the main staircase, with the elevator hidden to one side.

“A newly refurbished apartment in a wonderful historic building. The location is perfect being near the Uffizi Gallery and the Ponte Vecchio right in the very heart of Florence’s renaissance centre.”
