Via Lambertesca is a short narrow street right in the heart of the city. It runs between the piazza of  the Uffizi  Gallery and finishes a short distance from the “Ponte Vecchio”. This street is predominantly pedestrian. There are jewelry shops, a few boutiques and a famous trattoria. The main central market of San Lorenzo is about 15 minutes walk away, as is a supermarket, the central post office and all the monuments and museums. The palazzo “Bartolommei-Bruschetti” is a seventeenth century building which is adjacent to the church of “Santo Stefano al Ponte” behind. The entrance to the palazzo has been kept in its original form with columns and statuary leading to the main staircase, with the elevator hidden to one side.

Positive aspects: 
Location, quiet, elevator, air conditioning, double glazed windows.

Negative aspects: 
May have some pedestrian noise, no views from terrace (inner court), 1 bathroom in the loft area with no window, limited direct sun light.

Our personal opinion: 
“Completely refurbished delightful apartment, although the terrace is internal and has no views, it is still an advantage to have outdoor space. The location is exceptional.”
