Just outside Florence, still on a municipal bus route, this Medici villa was commissioned by the Antinori family in the fifteenth century. It is a typical expression of Medicean Architecture and remained in the one family till the beginning of the last century, when the family sold the property to another prominent Florentine family. The convenient location of this villa makes it ideal for touring both in the city of Florence and the Tuscan country side. Situated near the main highways, it gives easy access to both the northern and southern parts of Italy.

Description: 
The Villa is approx 1,000 sq. mts (10,800 sq.ft.),  1,200 sq. mts (13,000 sq.ft.) of garden, 11 hectare park with lake and gives the possibility to the guests arriving by helicopter. The villa is on  3 levels, total refurbished, with an elevator and consists of:

FURNISHINGS:
The ceilings are high and many rooms are frescoed. There are terra cotta and parquet floors with numerous carpets and rugs.
The owner lives in the property which shares the courtyard with the villa, and uses a separate entrance. All the bathrooms have been remodeled and are very actual, the kitchen is large and has many appliances, there are numerous places to eat outdoors, and the ballroom has a grand piano.

AMENITIES :
The 1st level is air conditioning, the bedroom on the ground floor has a portable air conditioning unit, satellite TV and wifi is available throughout the villa, elevator, linens, washing machine and 2 dryers, 2 dishwashers, iron, hairdryers, microwave oven, alarm system, night surveillance.

Positive aspects: 
Location, views, near public transport, neighbor next door, not isolated, elevator, ground floor bedroom and bathroom, pool.

Negative aspects: 
Some traffic noise, car necessary, neighbor next door, stairs.

“A magnificent villa in a super conveniet location for visiting short or long term, the restoration is perfect and the soft furnishings are elegant as are the beautiful frescoes throughout, a dream place to stay.”

Included: 
WEEKLY RENTALS: utilities (gas, water, electricity), heating, concierge service on call, breakfast(continental style prepared daily, groceries excluded), chef service(1 meal/day, groceries excluded), welcome snacks, housekeeping(5 hours/day, 6 days/week), change of linens, towels and toiletries mid-week, pool and garden maintenance, internet connection.

Not included: 
WEEKLY RENTALS: all food and drinks, extra maid service, extra changes of linen, any other services which may be requested (transfers, private driver, private chef, additional housekeeping, massage, tours etc).
