The church of Santa Croce is one of the most important churches of Florence. Situated on the north side of the river Arno this area is within a few minutes´ walk from all of the city´s most famous museums and monuments. Close by are the Sant´Ambrogio open-air fruit and vegetable market, a post office and numerous restaurants and boutiques. The apartment situated in the piazza is also close to several theatres, the main ones being "Il Teatro Verdi" and "La Pergola", which host numerous concerts throughout the year.

Description: 
Situated in one of the city´s most prestigious palazzo and measuring  approx. 116 sq. mts. (1,200 sq. ft) located on the 2nd floor with elevator and consists of:

Living/dining room (with working fireplace and frescoed ceiling)
3 bedrooms (1 queen, 1 with twin, 1 single)
2 bathrooms (1 with tub and shower, 1 shower stall)
1 guest powder room

FURNISHINGS :
A mixture of modern and antiques with an original frescos and “stucco” decorations, the soft furnishings are mainly cotton with drapes on the windows. The floors are terracotta with scatter rugs. The apartment overlooks a Renaissance garden.

AMENITIES :
Equipped with portable air conditioning units,  T.V. with DVD player, mobile phone upon request, dishwasher, washing machine with dryer. Linen is supplied. A small private gym room is available to guests.

Positive aspects: 
Location, views, spacious, quiet, fireplace, elevator.

Negative aspects: 
One bathroom is at the end of the corridor, some distance from the bedrooms. Limited closet space.

Our personal opinion: 
"It is a long, narrow apartment where roller skates would be handy, but the total flavor of the apartment is comfortable with some very special architectural features. It is in one of the most prestigious piazza of Florence and handy to everything."
