Galluzzo is a small town on the outskirts of Florence (approx 5 km to Porta Romana and the historic centre). It has a frequent municipal bus service into the city centre and is very convenient to the highways for Roma, Milano and Siena. In Galluzzo there is a market every week, and a post office, super market and numerous shops and boutiques. This town is the closest to the property and is approx. 2 km away. Between the house and Galluzzo there is the  monastery of Certosa, which has been made famous in modern times by Frank Lloyd Wright’s architectural theory, that it is the perfect design for communal living. This maybe visited upon request.

This renovated ground floor apartment is a portion of farm house complex. There are neighbours above and to each side. There are hard wood floors and glassed in arched windows onto the front patio which faces south. The communal car park is approx 30 mts from the house up a slight hill surrounded by olive trees. Approaching the house there is a small garden and a courtyard for outdoor dining (good for the hot weather as it is in the shade). The furnishings are mainly antiques with modern bathrooms and kitchen features.
The house is equipped with a dish washer, and washing machine The heating is autonomous gas. Please note: at present the telephone, satellite TV and the internet access are not connected.

Positive aspects: 
views, location, (proximity to Florence and a town) parking, garden, patio, fire place, not isolated (neighbours).

Negative aspects: 
neighbours, car necessary, 30 mts. of pathway up and down to the car park kitchen is compact and the work bench is high.

“A small comfortable sunny country house not far from Florence.”
