Location:
Piazza Santa Croce is in the heart of Florence on the north side of the river. It is within a few minutes walk from all of the city´s most famous museums and monuments. Close by are the Sant´Ambrogio open-air fruit and vegetable market, a post office, gyms, theatres and general shopping. Piazza Santa Croce hosts many festivities including the “Calcio in Costume” a football match in costume, played every June 24th, the birthday of Florence’s patron saint John the Baptist.

FURNISHINGS:
The furnishings are a mixture of modern and antiques. There are several rooms that are frescoed, and have the original wooden beam ceilings, the soft furnishings are mainly cotton and brocade there are drapes on the windows. The floors are terracotta with rugs and some are parquet. The bathrooms and kitchen are tiled and modern. Please note the master bedroom, en-suite bathroom and terrace are approx 15 steps up.
AMENITIES:
Air conditioning, T.V. with DVD player, Internet connection, mobile phone available upon request, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. Linen and kitchenware are supplied. A private gym room is available to guests next door.
Positive aspects:
Location, quiet, frescoed, private gym, fireplace, elevator, air conditioning.
Negative aspects:
2 small bathrooms, no views, limited closet space, small utility terrace, shower curtains, steps.
