Piazza Libertà has one of the old medieval gates of Florence in the middle. It is approx 20 minute walk into the centre of the city to all the museums and monuments. There are numerous buses serving this area. The apartment is five minutes walk from this piazza in a street called Lorenzo il Magnifico (Lorenzo the Magnificent) The apartment is in a garden at the back of a building built in the late nineteenth century. There are numerous restaurants, shops and the railway station is approx 30 minute walk away.
