It is approx. 15 minutes by car and 45 minutes by foot from the centre of town.  The small villages of San Domenico and Ponte a Mensola (down hill) are both handy for a post office, food shops and restaurants. The apartment is also 15 minutes from the European University in San Domenico.

The apartment is part of a villa and is set in extensive private grounds with a large patio area just outside the house, a pool and a small woods in a quiet  neighbourhood. There are 2 gates, one leading to the private parking area for 10 cars and the other to the common parking lot where there are 3 reserved parking spaces. Location (proximity to Florence), quiet,  extensive grounds, pool, parking, not isolated.

Negative aspects: 
The house and grounds have good privacy, but they are part of a larger property where others live.
