Location: 
This refurbished farmhouse apartment is located in a villa complex dating to the 1800’s. The estate is approx. 300 meters from the piazza of tiny Villamagna, a village with a trattoria, pizzeria, a small grocery shop and a local bus stop (to Florence).

“Il Ciliege” is one of five apartments created from the farm houses attached to the villa, located 9 kms. from Florence on the south side of the river Arno. The closest major shopping is in the town of Bagno a Ripoli or on "Viale Europa" in Florence, approximately 10 minutes away by car. On Viale Europa there is an American-style supermarket, banking, general shopping, dry cleaners, post office, etc..

Description: 
The apartment has a small, private patio area, partitioned off of a shared courtyard. There are parking spaces for several cars. The surrounding countryside is typically Tuscan with rolling hills of olive trees and vines. There are lovely views in every direction.

The apartment is accessed directly from the patio area. It measures approx. 180 sq.mts. (approx. 1900 sq.ft) and consists of:

Living room (with fireplace)
Dining area (table for 8)
Kitchen (dishwasher, washing machine)
4 bedrooms (3 with double beds that may be divided into 2 twins, 1 with twin beds)
3 bathrooms (1 with tub/shower, 2 with shower stalls)

FURNISHINGS :
There are terracotta floors and wood-beamed ceilings. The furnishings are comfortable, with a rustic flavour.

AMENITIES:
Satellite TV, internet connection,telephone, washing machine, dishwasher,oven, Linen and kitchenware are supplied.

A small space is available outside under the stairs for extra storage. There are three dogs nearby, in a fenced yard on the property. A water reservoir on the property is used by local fire fighters to collect water with helicopters.

May use the property pool (shared).

Positive aspects: 
Beautiful views, some outdoor space, shared pool, close to Florence but in a country setting, caretaker on the premises, and easy access to the A/1 Rome- Milan Autostrada.

Negative aspects: 
A car is necessary, but there is a public bus into town leaves approx. once an hour, up to 8pm.

Our personal opinion: 
"A comfortable apartment, with lovely country views and a friendly atmosphere."

Not included: 
Utilities, telephone, heating, maid service, condominium expenses, final cleaning/laundry charges and taxes (television, garbage, contract registration).
