Location: 

Via San Domenico runs from Piazza Edison towards the hill town of San Domenico and then proceeding on to terminate at Fiesole.  It is approx. ten minutes by car and 45 minutes by foot from the apartment to the centre of town.  The municipal bus service is handy and reliable. The small village of San Domenico and Piazza Edison (down hill) both are handy for  a post office, food shops and restaurants. The apartment is also within walking distance to The Centre for the European University in San Domenico.  The #7 bus stops nearby in its run between Fiesole and Piazza San Marco in the historic center.
 

Description: 
This apartment is approx. 60 sq.mts (600 sq ft.), on the first floor serviced with an elevator (there are three steps from the elevator to the apartment).  It consists of:

Entrance
storage room
L-shaped living room /dining room/kitchen with small sofa-bed and table for 6
Double bedroom
Bathroom (with small French tub and hand shower)
washing machine cubbyhole in the hallway
Small terrace in the internal air well

The apartment is supplied with: safe, telephone, dishwasher, washing machine, medium size refrigerator,  oven, kitchen equipment and linen.  The central heating is autonomous and can be turned off and on at the clients discretion.  The floors are tile and parquet.  High speed internet, TV,  and satellite service must be added by the tenant.

Positive aspects: 
elevator, close proximity to Florence, small terrace for dying clothes, large windows give lots of light, bus service close by.

Negative aspects: 
Some traffic noise from Via San Domenico.

Our personal opinion: 
“A comfortable apartment close to town.”

Not included: 
Condominium charges (approx. 30 Euro per month, to be confirmed upon request), utilities, telephone charges, heating, garbage services.
